September: Perth
The group divided on gender lines
today. Glen and Murray went to a car museum and we ladies went into
the city to go shopping. The men seemed to enjoy themselves while we
had a good time as well, of course. There were lots of specials on
and I bought a long sleeve purple shirt and a matching jumper for
$27.00 which was a bargain (Myers) The others tried on lots and
bought a few as well although not necessarily as cheaply as I did.
I came home early as we were going out
that night to Anne's. Gail and Lorraine went to the Perth Mint to
watch a pour which I had seen on a previous occasion. We had a lovely
time with Anne and Gavin. Kara says she remembers me but perhaps not
as that was 4 years ago. But I.ve always found Anne easy to talk to
and we shared stories of the children. She teaches 3 days a week in
a support unit and was keen to know about Hannah. (When I seee her
on Sunday, I must tell her that Hannah rode a bike down a set of
stairs at a party today ( it's Saturday), something I did at
Butcher's Creek at 5 too!)
We had a lovely meal and lots of chat.
I felt a bit naughty coming home to the caravan park at 11.30 pm!
It was in darkness!
